OVERVIEW OF ELECTORAL SYSTEM
Learn more The Legislative of the Virgin Islands is unicameral, with a single house consisting of 15 senators, elected to two-year terms without term limits.

Head of Government Governor is elected by popular vote (simple majority)
Structure of Parliament The legislative power is vested in the legislature consisting of one house, composed of 15 members to be known as senators.
