Grenada General Election
Results - 10 October 1951 |

General elections were held in Grenada on 10 October 1951, the first to be held under universal suffrage.
Electoral System
The eight members of the Legislative Council were elected in single-member constituencies by first-past-the-post voting. The Legislative Council however had few powers. The role of head of government remained with the Administrator.
Results
Eric Gairy's Grenada Mental and Manual Workers Union (GMMWU) won six of the eight seats. The Action Council (AC) won the remaining two seats.
