Grenada General Election
Results - 20 September 1954 |

General elections were held in Grenada on 20 September 1954.
Electoral System
The eight members of the House of Representatives were elected in single-member constituencies by first-past-the-post voting. The Legislative Council however had few powers. The role of head of government remained with the Administrator.
Political Parties & Candidates
A total of 31 candidates contested the election including 23 independents and 8 candidates from the Grenada United Labour Party (GULP) - the only political party in existence at the time.
Results
Although independent candidates received the most votes, Eric Gairy's GULP won six of the eight seats.
