General elections were held in Grenada on 24 August 1967.
Electoral System
The 10 members of the Legislative Council were elected in single-member constituencies by first-past-the-post voting.
Political Parties & Candidates
Two political parties contested the election - the Grenada United Labour Party (GULP) and the Grenada National Party (GNP). Each party presented a full slate of 10 candidates.
Results
The result was a victory for the Grenada United Labour Party, which won seven of the 10 seats and 54.51% of the vote. The Grenada National Party won the three remaining seats and 45.49% of the vote.
Voter Turnout
Voter turnout was 74.82%.
