Edmund Estaphane is a Saint Lucian politician, parliamentarian, and Cabinet Minister.

Career

Estaphane who represents the constituency of Dennery South for theUnited Workers Party (UWP). Estephane won the seat at the general election held on 11 December 2006. In the government of Prime Minister John Compton, sworn in on 19 December 2006, Estephane was named Minister in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Commerce. In early June 2007 he became Minister of Health, and in the next cabinet reshuffle on 12 September 2007, following Compton's death, he became Minister for Labour, Information and Broadcasting.

On 14 June 2016, Estaphane was appointed Minister in the Ministry for Equity, Social Justice, Empowerment, Youth Development, Sports, Culture and Local Government, following the victory of the UWP in the 6 June 2016 general elections.
