Jefferson Fernando James is a Dominican politician and a former Election Candidate.

Early life and education

Jefferson Fernando James was educated at the St John’s Primary School, Portsmouth Secondary School, University of Santiago de Cuba.

Career

James unsuccessfully contested the Portsmouth seat for the United Workers' Party (UWP) in the 2014 election.

He was a teacher at Portsmouth Secondary and currently employed at a private engineering company.

James is contesting the Portsmouth seat for the UWP in the 2019 general election.
