Hon. Roselyn Victoria Paul
Cabinet Minister, Commonwealth of Dominica
Roselyn Victoria Paul is a Dominican politician and current Cabinet Minister.
Early life and education
She holds a MSc degree in rural development and a diploma in social work and management.
Career
A career public servant for 31 years, Paul worked for 18 years as a primary school teacher at the Paix Bouche Primary School. Then she moved to the Women's Bureau where she worked from 2000-08 as Programme Research and Development Coordinator.
She is a founding member of the 30 year-old Paix Bouche Cultural Group.
She was trail operations manager for the Waitukubuli National Trail.
Following retention of her seat in the 2019 general election, she was appointed Minister of Sports, Culture and Community Development in the Roosevelt Skerrit Administration on 17 December 2019.
She previously served as current Minister for Commerce, Enterprise and Small Business Development in the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) Administration of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.
Personal life
She is the mother of two daughters: Dr. Kyra Paul and Amatulia Lockhart.
