Sylvester Quarless
Former Cabinet Minister, Grenada

Sylvester Quarless is a Grenadian politician and former Cabinet Minister. 

Early life and education

He was educated at the Grenada Boys Grammar School.  He later studied at the University of the West Indies and in Germany.  He specialized in Journalism, Public Relations and Public Administration. 

Career

He has worked as Information Officer with the Government of Grenada for 28 years. 

A former representative for the constituency of St Andrew South West in the House of Representatives of Grenada, Quarless served as Minister of Social Development in the Tillman Thomas led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration (2008 to 2013).

Personal life

Quarless is married and the father of six children.
