Dr. Lincoln Radix, MBE
Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Represenatives of the West Indies Federation

Lincoln Radix was a Grenadian politician and a former parliamentarian in the West Indies Federal Parliament.

Early life

Lincoln Radix was born in 1912 to Anne Radix.

Career

Lincoln Radix gained a seat in the Grenada Legislative Council in 1957 as a result of the by-election created through disqualification of Mr. Eric Gairy.

He served as a Member of the House of Representatives of the West Indies Federation from 1958 to 1962. He served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Honours and awards

Radix was honoured as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).

Personal life

Radix was married to wife Ivy Coard Radix.

Death

Dr. Lincoln Radix died on 17 November 1977 in Saint David, Grenada of a stroke, aged 65.
