Christina Martha Elena Scott is a former Governor of Anguilla.

Early life and education

Christina Martha Elena Scott was born on 25 December 1974 in the United Kingdom. She was educated at Francis Holland School, Clarence Gate and Christ Church, Oxford.

Career

Christina Scott served as Governor of Anguilla from 2013 to 2017. Prior to serving as Governor, Scott was Director of the Civil Contingencies Secretariat in the Cabinet Office (2009–13); and Private Secretary to the British Prime Minister (2006–2009). She has previously worked at HM Treasury, Department for Transport and at the European Commission.

Personal life

Scott was married to the late Chris Martin (1973–2015), a civil servant. They separated in 2011 and he later remarried. They had no children from their marriage.
