The Hon. Trevor Myke Walker
Member of Parliament, Antigua and Barbuda
Trevor Myke Walker is an Antiguan and Barbudan politican and former Cabinet Minister.
Early life and education
Walker was educated at the Holy Trinity School and was awarded a degree in economics by St Leo University in Florida. He worked at the K Club as the local manager for nine years. His father, Rueben Harris, was Minister of Education for eighteen years.
Career
Trevor Myke Walker represented the Barbuda People's Movement (BPM) and Barbuda in the House of Representatives for two consecutive terms (2004 - 2014). Trevor Walker was first elected to the Barbuda Council in 2001.
Walker was appointed Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, responsible for Barbuda Affairs in April 2004. During the UPP's second term in office, he served as Minister of Works and Transport.
Walker unsuccessfully defended his Barbuda seat in the 12 June 2014 election, losing to Arthur Nibbs of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party by a single vote.
