In 2014, Sharlene Warner-Samuel unsuccessfully contested the St. Peter seat for the Antigua Barbuda True Labour Party (ABTLP). She previously contested the seat in 2004 as an independent candidate.

Warner-Samuel failed in her third attempt to take the seat for the ABTLP in the 2018 General Election.
