Anya Williams is the current Deputy Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Early life and education
Williams has graduate and MSc degrees in accounting.
Career
Williams has worked as Permanent Secretary in the government's finance office. She was appointed to the position by William Hague in an open competition on 15 October 2012. Williams is the head of the government's civil service and she becomes the governor when that job holder is absent. The position of Deputy Governor had been vacant since September 2009.
