The parliament of Haiti (Parlement Haïtien) is the legislature of the Republic of Haiti. It sits at the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince. The Parliament is bicameral, the upper house being the Senate and the lower house being the Chamber of Deputies.
The Parliament is composed of members, MPs and Senators who have been elected to perform a specific function. Their duties as parliamentarians is not to govern, but to control the work of the executive to whom this role falls.
