Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas Tuesday announced the appointment of his most senior Cabinet colleague, the Hon Dr. Earl Asim Martin as his Deputy Prime Minister. His appointment comes in the wake of the resignation last week Friday of the Hon. Sam Condor, who was Deputy Prime Minister since 1995. |

Less than 72 hours after Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas warned two senior Cabinet ministers that they should either resign or submit their resignations if they intended to oppose the government policies, he has fired Senior Minister Dr Timothy Harris. |

A new nine-member St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) Cabinet of Prime Minister Denzil Douglas was sworn in on Sunday,7 February 2010, two weeks after the party won general elections. The selection features a mix of familiar and fresh faces and crosses party lines. |
