Movement for Change and Prosperity (MCAP)

The Movement for Change and Prosperity (MCAP) is a political party in Montserrat led by Reuben Meade. The MCAP won the parliamentary majority in the 2009 election with six of nine seats in the legislative council.

MCAP is a government that promotes mainstream values like discipline, hard work..., family, responsibility and community.

MCAP believes in the moral and cultural values that most Montserratians share; liberty, freedom of conscience, individual responsibility, tolerance of differences, the imperative of work, the need for faith and the importance of family. MCAP is committed as a party to building a Montserrat that is characterized by these values.
