Democratic Republican Party (DRP)

The Democratic Republic Party (DRP) is a minor political party in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The DRP was announced on 23 August 2012 by founder Anesia Baptiste as a real alternative to governance in SVG- for ALL of the people.

The Democratic Republican Party is a party whose philosophies encompass a.) belief in democracy as a scientific method of electing government into office and b.) belief in Republicanism as a political philosophy of a system of governance which acknowledges that the rights and freedoms of all of the people are inalienable or God-endowed and thus inviolable and that the government is merely the protectorate of these rights and freedoms for all - both majorities who elected it and minorities who did not elect it.

The DRP is presenting a slate of six first tome candidates for the 9 December 2015 general election.
